There is a whole rack of turn-of-the-century footage available for viewing at the Library of Congress website, including the above bike trickery. Not just cool ass bike tricks, but all kinds of circus stuff, burlesque, and vaudeville. Not to mention the amazing still photos of Houdini. I ended up staying up all night looking at that stuff.

several of the workers are on their big wheel bikes
wonder if they commuted on those things
or rode them for style/entertainment
