Agreed, he was a great climber & man. After he climbed the big E., he built a bunch of schools in Nepal for the locals. I did some ice climbing with Tenzing's son way back in the 80's (great guy too).
I have read some stuff and seen some film on the life of Sir Edmund Hillaryit must have been amazingbefore the quest to get a man on the moonthe world gathered around the story of the man who climbed to the top of the worldI have heard that Tenzing signed something saying he did not reach the summit first...
