You might be surprised -- the book was very well-received when it came out, and many libraries have copies. A quick search of OCLC's "WorldCat" union catalog shows 743 copies available at library systems throughout the U.S., so it should be a simple matter of ILL

book is expensive, retails for like 75 bucks!
If I buy it, i'm going to need a bailout.
You should patronize your local library if you can't afford the book. If your local one doesn't have it, see if they do "inter-library loan".
This book is fantastic -- and well worth the wait if you've got to get it via ILL.
