Foot down is a silly "contest" where fixie riders go around in circles trying to bump each other off their bikes. If you put a foot down, you're out. Sort of like musical chairs for hipsters, but without the chairs or music.
That is was it is although the site is not named after that really. I named it more after the crap feeling of when you have to take your foot out of the clip and put it on the ground at the lights when your trackstand goes tits up :-p
