I find that blogging has changed because of all those. Things that are short go on twitter. Personal things on facebook. Artsy-fartsy design or illustrations get posted to tumblr with possible cross posting to the blog. I think the blog will live on. It'll just continue to evolve.
Yes, it seems that blogs have lost their buzz but still they have their role. We are not friends, yet I read yoru blog daily. It is part of my life. Would I want to follow you on FB, no- FB is for friends. Everyone says newspapers are dead, yet I still read them (not as often as I read blogs ;-).
As with anything in life, if something is done well the form matters little.
I still do it for my own reference. I can look back to previous months/years and see what I was doing. Plus the wife still gets a kick out of it. Why get lost in the sea of facebook posts?
