Good to see cycling cargo in DC. I lived there 10 years and don't think I ever saw a cargo rig. In my current location, it's even less likely that i'll see one.
well... Burley trailers with kids and cargo are not common place, but they most certainly have been in use for well over a decade
and as for the messenger business? there may be 6 or so messengers who focus on the cargo niche while there more than likely were two or three as much as a decade ago
a few years back there was an EXTRA CYCLE EXPLOSION in small pockets of urban parents
it is there it has been here but it is no where where it should be
