the other day snowboarding at Liberty the snow making machines were so loud that I would have just as well been deaf with music in my head instead of some industrial grind

I have stopped riding with my iPod. I definitely enjoyed my time riding with music but I realize how dangerous it can be.
Now I enjoy the sounds around me.
