Also it's where a one way runs into a 2 way, I don't think the city would bother having a signal pointing the wrong way down a one way street (well of course they could do it).
I'm also going to assume based on the angle of the sun it was taken in the evening so the girl is traveling east. You could at least get the time of day from the exif data.

There's writing on the building behind her head. Is this the full res image?

16th and Euclid. It was familiar to me even after all these years. I lived at 17th and Euclid for a bit.
