I call it Strava-bagging... like sandbagging.... only on Strava

I am not as strong\fast as I was before I broke my elbow
8+ weeks off the bike
then a slow return to the bike
and then the absence of racing
well... this has left me slower than I was in the winter 

there are times when I will ride my bikes with my kids and we will Strava our rides
I will get home and find that I achieved a PR (Personal Record) for a segment on Strava
which has me scratching my head
Personal Record?
but I was riding my single speed mountain bike with my kids... certainly I ride my rode bike faster with adult cyclists?

this is true... I am faster on this other bicycle
but not all rides are recorded on Strava
is it for this reason?
