Mr and Mrs Trailwerks

yesterday I left out the city for Annapolis...
funny thing
this pilgrimage
being traffic free... it was not that far away

no I did not go to Cantler's Riverside Inn for my last chance for Blue Crabs
no... I did not grab a bucket of Maryland style fried chicken and then hop on a sail boat and take a tour of the Chesapeake Bay
no... I loaded Grant's bike into the Honda Element and drove out to Annapolis to go to Trailwerks Cyclery

Trailwerks Cyclery

why with all the shops in Washington DC did I travel all the way out to Annapolis to have work done on my son's bicycle?

Trailwerks Cyclery is a suspension fork specialist
sure it is an all around bicycle shop that does sales and repairs
but Michael Klasmeier is a suspension fork specialist
most shops do not handle shock repair on site
most shops will send your fork back to the manufacturer
not Trailwerks Cyclery!

to my pleasure...
when I showed up I ran into Matt and Katie Donahue in town from their recent relocation to Harrisonburg VA
their young son was bicycle shopping... I think he settle in on a red Specialized push bike... handsome young lad... Matt showed me some work benches that he built in the shop
Katie and I chatted about the bun in the oven... not me... her

customers were flowing in and out
more business than browsing

then Mrs. Trailwerks Cyclery showed up...
we caught up

the shop is a decent size warehouse space that is open and spacious
yet still maintains a warm comfortable feel
that said... and I did not even sit in the lounge area
I was in the mechanics clubhouse area

so... I know you know bikes
of course you can lube your chain and put air in the tires
brake and gear adjustments?
HECK YEAH!
but what about your suspension system?

I bet your suspension system could use an overhaul...
I know I have neglected my suspension... often unknowingly to the point I was riding\racing and ineffective shock
make an appointment... bring your bike by
get your shock fixed at Trailwerks Cyclery in Annapolis
not far from DC
maybe not too far for you

and of course
