Thanks for the post! I'm the creator of the Cycling Cog. I just want people to know that I want it to be a cyclist resource as well as blogs. It has ride profiles so you can find someone to ride with, groups so you can ride with groups, and a "lost and found" section for posting stolen/recovered bikes.
Props to DC cyclists, WABA and all the fun I had biking down there a couple years ago, joining in on WABA's Giant Bike Ride 2003 through DC; getting a bike at the Bike Swap; and riding all the great trails on weekends and to work downtown.
herb it is good stuff http://cyclingcog.net/blog/1 just another reason why it is cooler to be canadian ah... is there a conversion process? how do I start? dc could use some jobs that put people in touch with some basic ideas
I would love to work to make Washington DC a Civil City!
