Also, pretty sure that's not the way to encourage families to visit your shop (assuming the guy *has* a shop, an assumption that is both supported and refuted by conflicting ambiguities in the rant).
I know both of them pretty well. I have ridden with Andy for 20 years. I rode from Durango to Moab with both of them. They both had shops. They decided to open one together. Bruce opened in Andy's old space ALONE. These are the facts I know. The rest is speculation, hearsay, and stories that differ from one to the next. It is a shame the relationship did not work out. It is a shame those days of all of us riding together are over. I will admit, the web page did get a chuckle.

and as far as the ideas for the best bike shop
every cyclist with a six pack has postulated how they would make the best bike shop possible
