electric gears?
not a new idea... the re-introduction of a bad idea although I have never tried it I do not feel there is reason to test it to know it sucks WIRED: Shimano Gears Go Electric

I work in a bike shop and went to a Shimano seminar and got to test one out hands on. It is actually really good, with a retail price of 4,200 for the group it is pretty pricey.

i hear it's actually lighter than cabled dura ace 7900. though it's still not my cup of tea either.
