Gwad,

I'd wish you do more posts about cyclists following the law. After I got my Big Dummy w/ kid seat, I found myself less-than-lightning quick in traffic. To make myself (and my kid passengers) safer, I decided I'd do the right thing and actually OBEY the traffic laws. No running through stop signs, no running red lights, hand signals, etc.

Daily, I'm amazed at the large numbers of DC cyclists who regularly flaunt the traffic laws. I know cyclists can get into philosophical debates about how a majority of traffic laws weren't written for us in mind, but the law is the law. (BTW, I actually support the "Idaho stop", bike boxes, and most of the bike-friendly evolution in local traffic laws. Unfortunately, these haven't passed in DC.

Please remind your copious numbers of readers that they need to follow the laws as well. Its safer for everyone. As an added bonus, it makes the cars not hate on us as much.
