Mike Fellows

in high school... I knew I was late for class if I was behind Mike Fellows in the hall
when playing for GIs he had the longest bass cord I ever saw
he would play nearly off stage
then when playing for Rites of Spring I recall him breaking his hand with his wild guitar style and the low ceiling of Food for Thought
I still listen to Government Issue Joy Ride and the first Rites of Spring album
Mike Fellows was a bicycle messenger in Washington DC
I wonder if he ever worked as a messenger in NYC?
