stopped by city bikes in adams morgan before heading homeno real purpose
not to buy anything
not to say hello to anyone in particular
not to take any pictures
after saying hello a few people I tried to take a few pictures
the battery exhausted warning appeared
with the frustration of trying to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together I tried to take a few shots with the last seconds of juice
again removing the batteries
again warming the batteries
again putting them in the camera
was able to forcea few snaps
but only a few
would have been nice to get a few more shots of the folks at city bikes
a colorful cast of characters
I recognized this woman with a differnet bike in the repair area
