in the washington post an article about an effort to remove signs and replace the signs with common sense...
this notion of too many signs has been in the forefront of my thinking for some time now
seeing a sign with an icon of a camera in Moab Utah telling the tourist that that this spot is a good place for a photo opportunity is an obnoxious as the sign in Adams Morgan alerting the bar hoppers that they are not to toss their trash on the sidewalk
some things are common sense
the signs will not aid in injecting common sense into the minds of the common idiot
more signs... more signs... more signs
those are just more signs to be ignored
remove the signs and start to educated the people about how to behave...
the NO DUMPING sign seems to be an alert to that contractor with the white van to make his midnight drop in Rock Creek Park
