the c&o canalI have many memories from the c&o canal
it has been the bicycle destination for me many times on many levels
I have ridden the cumberland to dc ride a few times
the stretch between whites ferry and dc is more familiar
harpers ferry has been a destination
the miles between Old Anglers and DC have been looped coutless times
but never have I considered a winter approach to the c&o canal
here is a report from someone who did
and it was blessed with not just cold... but also snow!
