this morning I took a look at the day and the boys' schedule and made the executive decision that we would not be riding the bikes todaythe morning was dark with clouds overhead
threatening clouds overhead
not raining at drop off
but raining ever since
yes we ride in the rain
but we do not need to ride in the rain every time it rains
especially when it is inconvenient
hard to measure when the choice not to ride is giving into excuses
and when it is time to "man up" and "just do it"
with the afternoon activities and the threat of rain
picking up the boys with the car just makes sense
we are not trying to be CAR FREE
we are just trying to live CAR LITE
