the shell remains... in this economy... I do not see any effort to rebuild this building
Mount Pleasant Street missed the economic boom that hit Columbia Heights and even Petworth
it was part cost and part ANC
members of the neighborhood commission fought to keep Mount Pleasant from becoming the next Adams Morgan
which in so many ways halted the effort for Mount Pleasant to be the best Mount Pleasant that it could be
I do not have the timeline
I do not know the full story
but I do know that I had higher hopes for Mount Pleasant Street than the McCormick Paints and another laundry mat
