I coach my younger son's soccer team
I try to foster my children's interests
I do my best to give them the launching pad to take on the world
I believe that there are some basic things a child must learn
all the tools for school... reading, writing, appropriate behavior and such
then for sport... running, swimming, riding a bike, skiing, and ice skating are the core to their athletic and healthy future
not one of these things happens without one of the children offering up opposition
