I wanted to be there
but the responsibilities of life will not allow
should have balanced the responsibilities in the days that approached
thought I was on track to attend until the tail end of this week
the Liberty Jamboree has been a gathering of friends and families for years
maybe part of my hesitation had to do with my traveling up alone
kids are away with their mother
did not get any DC Single Speeders to travel up with me
so... I opted to do the responsible thing
