the 2016 DC Tour de Fat was a wet one
May in DC has been rainy... record setting rain fall this May
it was wet at the Tour de Fat... it did rain intermittently
but it was not a monsoon
just a little more than misty
DC Tour de Fat 2016 was a Party!
as a representative of MORE: Mid Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts I act as the team leader for Bike Valet at the DC Tour de Fat
it is one of the ways for me as a DC resident to contribute to the club that does so much for the sport I love
MORE
it is always harder to wrangle volunteers for this event than it should be
there was some conflicts this weekend with other events
Dirt Fest at Raystown Lake stole some of my die hard bike valet volunteers
so...
I reached out to my DC Bike Family for help
and well
PEOPLE STEPPED UP!
Yes Tour de Fat was Tou de Rain... Cheers to everyone that braved the rain especially the volunteers!
