the first beer from The New Belgium brewery
it was EPIC!
it was sub culturally cool
and
it was ONLY available in the West...
so... a taste of Fat Tire only happened in someone brought back some beers from a Fort Collins visit
until...
New Belgium expanded its beer selection and their delivery range
eventually opening a brewery in Asheville NC
too cool...
great beers...
amazing company...
and well
The Tour de Fat is a great event that still happens... just not in DC
