Anacostia could use Investment
Anacostia is a community that could use massive assistance
so much good is happening... but not enough
there is growth at the town center
there are renovated schools and libraries
but still...
too many abandoned buildings
too much blight
this could be a a chance for a form of reparations
not a check for every resident
but rather...
invest in the infrastructure
give the people of Anacostia the services and opportunities that other parts of the city have
so many boarded up buildings
abandoned residences
abandoned businesses
too many boarded up buildings
work could be done by Black Owned Businesses...
contracts given to Black Owned Companies...
they could hire members of the local communities as workers\laborers
grants could be given to start businesses
too much opportunity...
not enough happening...
so much potential..
