from The Glass Forrest Racers could take The Old Trolley Trail path to Doug's
then...
through the alley behind the alley behind Doug's house
there was a straight shot for the stairs from Potomac Ave to the stairs that take people to the Capital Crescent Trail
Sure... the Capital Crescent trail did do some back tracking
but it was better than going rouge
there are some single track trails
then cross Canal Road
but... I had thought that the Capital Crescent Trail was a wise route
just as I thought the Anacostia Trail from RFK to King Greenleaf would be a good route
maybe not direct
but safe and no stops
