Bullies on the Road... bullying pedestrians... bullying cyclists... and bullying smaller vehicles....

 

Bicycling Magazine has a story about LARGE TRUCKS and their impact on space and safety

what amuses me is how LARGER VEHICLES bully their way down the DC streets...

the streets are narrow, but the roads are wide enough for two way traffic for standard cars... yet, these larger vehicles hog the road... encroaching onto oncoming cars space...

I feel that it would work better if people just drove on their sides of the road...

seems to make sense to me...

if your car takes up too much space... SIMPLY YEILD to oncoming traffic... then proceed after they pass.. rather than PLAYING CHICKEN WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC... forcing them to slow\stop\pull over to the side so that the larger vehicle can HOG THE ROAD
