I had a good race until... until my frame cracked in halfthat took me out of the game at mile 16
I had a solid gap on the chasing Clydesdales
not enough of a gap to allow me to walk it into the finish then stand on the podium

at Schaeffer Farms in the early morning race a man had a heart attack and died
