yesterday there was a pedestrian death in mount pleasant
a woman was crossing 16th Street when she was hit and killed by a Metro bus
people say... accidents happen
I feel... accidents can be avoided
not to lay blame on anybody
but... professionals should drive like professsionals
taxi cabs and buses are menaces on the city streets
police officers drive as if they do not know the law
we all need to slow down
my heart goes out to the woman who lost her life
and to all of those that lost a family member or a friend
life is sort
