the price tag...

everything costs...
nothing is cheap...

this folding bike with its full size wheels costs over two grand
www.wired.com
I am not sure what the standard folder costs
but that does seem like a good deal of money

similarly...
the standard e-bike comes with a hefty price tag
a price that seems more like a motorcycle than a bicycle

which seems like a good enough transition to the question...
are e-bikes permitted on THE BIKE PATH
are the BIKE PATHS slated for NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES?
I would have less of a problem if e-bikes stayed off the towpath and the area bike paths
they seem like a menace when on the narrow multi-use bike paths

bikes for sport can cost more than these bikes
but the folder and the e-bike are made more for the commute than than the athlete
which all falls into the "dollar per mile" equation
my squishy bike has an expensive per use price tag on it
