in Washington DC we have a Traffic Problem
so many of these issues should be resolvable
the city accepts unacceptable behavior
if there was greater enforcement
the streets could be more safe
STOP ENABLING UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
it is the same people doing the same things everyday
REMOVE THESE DRIVERS FROM THE STREET
People Parking in the Bus Lane
People Parking in the Bike Lane
People Double Parking
these behaviors have to STOP
a delivery truck double parked is UNACCEPTABLE
it is their business
they need to conduct their business without obstructing other people's rights to the road
TOO OFTEN... the double parked vehicle is in the road when there is a legal space within view

Issue Parking Tickets
Collect the Fines
Penalize those who are refusing to pay fines
REMOVE CAR DRIVERS WHO REFUSE TO PAY THE FINES
there should be NO SYMPATHY for the SCOFF LAW DRIVERS
if someone has a stack of tickets
that is a firm indicator of their driving behavior
STOP ENABLING THIS BEHAVIOR
PUNISH THIS BEHAVIOR
if someone has a stack of tickets
it is a firm indicator that illegal behavior is their everyday
and these tickets are only the times that they were penalized for this behavior
there are more than likely many many times where this behavior occurs without penalty
PEOPLE NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY THEY THINK

Double Parking and Putting on the Hazards?
Come On People...
we need to change the way people think...
people need to do right because the right thing to do is simply The Way
it should not be about whether or not they get a ticket
but if people are only motivated by punishment
then punish them in an effort to change their behavior
THREE STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT!
there needs to be a policy that removes these drivers from the road
it is over due
to make the streets safe... we need to remove unsafe drivers
Illegally Parking has a negative ripple effect on traffic
ENFORCE ILLEGAL PARKING!
and... ignore the irrelevant subtext
if you do not park illegally... you do not get a parking ticket

you should not be able to drive your car
penalize those who are wrong is a way to thank those who behave
illegally parked cars ruin it for others
