Sandinista by the Clash released in 1980
Sandinista! was voted best album of the year in the Pazz & Jop critics poll in The Village Voice. In 2020 it was ranked number 323 on the Rolling Stone list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" and Slant Magazinelisted the album at number 85 on its "Best Albums of the 1980s" list.[12]

so... I own several 12 inch releases of songs from this album...
Magnificent Seven... The Call Up... maybe one other with a few extended versions of those songs
so... there is some appreciation for the direction that they were going
but... but really
I would have found the album more listenable if there had been less unlistenable tracks on this album
it was just too much to ingest
never wanted to hear the songs I did not care for
which did not allow this album to be heavy in the rotation
there are some fantastic songs
it would have been better to just release one two sided album
then... I am not sure what to do with all that other stuff
if Sandinista were only ONE two sided record
what songs would go on this album?
