last night I went to a gallery exhibit at Lost Origins in Mount Pleasant
FANTASTIC SHOW!
THROUGH THE EYES OF HISTORY
a retrospective of work by White House Photographers
it was a well attended event..
a number of the White House photographers were there
some Mount Pleasant people who are known photographers
including Frank Day and Jim Saah
then also...
the event was sponsored by Reboot Beverages
met the co-owner Troy
cool dude... we share a love for bikes and drinks served in bottles
I was stoked that Troy and Reboot Beverages had a Vodka that was fund raiser for the Ukraine
VERY COOL!
great product with a great campaign
nice to catch up with Jason of Lost Origins
he puts a great deal of work into these shows
love the art and the community that he supports
lots of local artists
lots of local themes
then lastly...
I met up with Jeff Everett of Rockets are Red
Jeff is a graphic designer who makes SUPER COOL music posters
Jeff was generous enough to donate a few of his posters as prizes for my upcoming Alleycats
gonna chat with Troy of Reboot Beverages
I think we may be able to get Troy involved in supporting these Alleycats as well!
Great to Get Out of the House... saw all sorts of cool people and cool art!
I recommend heading of to Lost Origins to see this or other future shows...
I also recommend chasing down and trying the products of Reboot Beverages
and lastly...
