I apologize to the racers for the wrong address

I can be so critical of others for their mistakes
be certain
this error weighs heavily on me
BUT!
THAT SNAFU DOES NOT DEFINE THE DAY!
The Confer Cat 2024 was a definite SUCCESS!

the Alleycat Race Manifest
there were two Alleycat Race Manifest
with three minor changes
Two Different Fountains at the US Capitol; Summerhouse and Olmsted
Two different fountains at 1600 Constitution
and
Upper vs. Lower Deck at Malcolm X\Meridian Hill Park
slight... but enough... I know it effected a few racers riding as a team
Alvin and Nohom had different manifests

after the start I migrated to a few checkpoints
wanted to see how things were going
wanted to get a taste of the day
I knew that there was some time between the start and the finish for me to move around
left out of the Senate Fountain Park and went to Hole in the Wall
Just in time to catch some racers through
Alan Goad was Soaked in Sweat
as he was running a one man band
blowing the harmonica while tapping on the high hat while singing the blues can wear you out
after Hole in the Wall
I zipped out the back entrance and went to Buzzard Point
acrosss the street from 2121 First Street SW
SWEET SPOT!
rolled up on it rolling smoothly
three volunteers at this checkpoint
Wheeler was Grill Master
Albone was Signature
Sven previously Steve Hill was Mirror Pick Up
I also went to Banneker Park at L Enfant and then also The Gantry
The Gantry was the wrong address
but you will have to go to the Facebook Photo Set to see those images
it was The Gantry that was the WRONG ADDRESS!
again... sorry... that error weighs heavy on me
so much went well on this day
had that WRONG ADDRESS on the Manifest had not been such
it would have been a slightly different day
I posted Stories to Instagram
I sent Text Messages to both Dario and Bigs and maybe Bruce early in the race
yet still
it was a good day
a good day
a solid race
and
one hell of a party
